Abstract

In September 2024, Karo Regency experienced year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation of 0.04 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.80.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to price increases indicated by the increase in several expenditure group indexes, namely: clothing and footwear group by 5.25 percent; groups of equipment, equipment and household maintenance by 0.66 percent; health group by 1.09 percent; transportation group by 0.62 percent; leisure, sports and cultural groups at 5.66 percent; food and beverage/restaurant supply group by 2.91 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 4.60 percent.

The month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate of Karo Regency in September 2024 is 0.05 percent and the year-to-date (y-to-d) deflation rate by 0.55 percent.
