Consumer Price Index March 2024

In March 2024, Karo Regency experienced year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation of 4.88 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 107.26.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to price increases indicated by the increase in several expenditure group indexes, namely: food, beverages and tobacco groups by 7.20 percent; clothing and footwear group by 6.29 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel groups at 2.01 percent; Groups of Equipment, Equipment and household maintenance by 1.79 percent; transportation group by 1.67 percent; leisure, sports and cultural groups at 5.64 percent; food and beverage/restaurant supply group by 6.26 percent; food and beverage/restaurant supply group by 2.19 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 9.50 percent. The month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate of Karo Regency in March 2024 is 0.12 percent and the year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate by 0.82 percent
