Abstract

In February 2024, year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Karo Regency will be 3.84 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 107.13.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by the increase in several expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 5.28 percent; clothing and footwear group at 4.44 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 1.95 percent; transportation group by 1.56 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 5.64 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 3.16 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 9.36 percent.

The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate in February 2024 are 0.58 percent and year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate for Karo Regency are 0.70 percent each.
