Consumer Price Index January 2024

In January 2024, year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Karo Regency will be 4.15 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.51.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by the increase in several expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 5.1 percent; clothing and footwear group at 7.28 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 2.91 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 0.51 percent; transportation group by 1.74 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 5.94 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 3.45 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 9.97 percent.

The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate and year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate for Karo Regency in January 2024 are 0.11 percent each.
